Trainee fashion planner

As a Fashion Planner, you are the power behind the money. You play a key role in the company’s purchasing environment. As a natural trader, you will utilise your analytical skills, coupled with your strong numeric ability, to analyse and forecast financial and product trends to support the ultimate goals of the organisation. You enjoy engaging with technology and various systems with the aim to innovate and improve processes.

 

 

 

Trainee fashion buyer

You are all about fashion! You take inspiration from international style trends and apply it to your range to ensure you provide the South African consumer with the hottest fashion looks. Your negotiation skills, creative flair and strong administrative skills are critical to your success as a Buyer.

Trainee fashion designer/graphic designer

Trend spotting is your game; you thrive on researching the hottest trends. Keeping up to date with the latest celebs, bloggers, influencers, and designers is what drives you. You influence the unique look and feel of the various brands through your design skills and research ability. Working closely with the Buyer, as a team, you make sure to give the consumer the trendiest product for the season.

 

 

 

Trainee garment technologist

A stitch out of place, a slip of the seam – you find a way to fix it! As a Garment Technologist, you ensure we maintain a high standard of fashionable quality for the consumer. Your technical knowledge and attention to detail aid you in making solid garment construction recommendations to maintain the quality standards of the business.

Trainee risk analyst

An amazing entry level opportunity exists with plenty of growth prospects. Truworths is looking for BBusSci, B.Sc, Act Sci or graduates with mathematics and statistics up to third year who love working with data and have strong analytical skills and academic records to join our team of specialized Risk Analysts.

 

 

 

Trainee sourcing co-ordinator

This position needs someone who has experience with a clothing supplier or fashion retailer. In addition, this person needs to be a highly organised “go getter” who loves fashion and can negotiate for our Buying teams.

Information system graduates

Truworths is looking for eager IT graduates who aspire to become passionate software developers and are eager to learn about technology and the business of retail. Be prepared to work with latest technologies and develop and support the systems that make Truworths South Africa’s leading fashion retailer.
