Our Story

• January 2014: Gradesmatch is founded with a vision to transform education in Africa.
• October 2015: Recognized as Runners-up in the SAB Social Innovation Awards & received seed capital funding.
• September 2017: Secured funding from the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation.
• June 2018: Piloted Bridge as a service for Matric students.
• October 2018: Won the Google Impact Challenge Africa.
• June 2019: Gradesmatch reaches 100,000 learners and moves to the Sandton Office.
• March 2019 – July 2020: Expanded our reach, impacting learners across the African continent.
