Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Citizenship: Be a South African citizen.
2. Education Level:
   • Have completed Matric OR currently in Matric.
   • Be accepted for full-time undergraduate studies in one of the specified fields at a recognized South African tertiary institution.
3. Academic Record: Demonstrate a strong academic performance.
4. Proof of Acceptance:
   • For first-year students: Submit proof of acceptance from a recognized university and Matric results.
   • For continuing students: Include a complete academic record.
5. Assessment: Willingness to undergo an assessment process as part of the selection criteria.

 

 

 

Bursary Benefits

The bursary covers:

• Accommodation fees.
• Tuition and examination fees.
• A book allowance.
• A once-off computer allowance in the second year (subject to compliance with the Municipal Bursary Agreement).
