Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Be between 18 and 28 years old.
  • Have completed Matric.
  • Achieved a minimum 50% pass rate.
  • Proven financial need.
  • Must plan to undertake studies at one of these Western Cape TVET colleges:
    • College of Cape Town
    • South Cape College
    • West Coast College
    • Boland College
    • Northlink College
    • False Bay College

 



 

 

How to Apply

1️⃣ Download and complete the Access Trust Bursary Application Form (PDF).
2️⃣ Attach certified copies of the following documents:

  • ID document / Refugee status / Asylum Seeker status.
  • Matric academic history (all results) OR full academic history.
  • Parent/guardian proof of income (latest 3 months’ payslips, SASSA grant proof, or affidavit if unemployed).
  • Character reference letter from a school teacher or community leader.
  • Motivational letter explaining:
    • Why you should be awarded the bursary.
    • Your career plans.
    • What and why you plan to study.
