Cleaner
The Limpopo Provincial Government has advertised a permanent Cleaner position within the Department of Social Development (DSD). The successful applicant will provide cleaning services, maintain cleaning materials and equipment, manage cleaning supplies and help ensure that hygiene and infection prevention measures are implemented. Candidates should also understand basic safety and hygiene practices, infection control, hazard monitoring and Batho Pele Principles.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have one of the following qualifications:
- Junior Certificate.
- Standard 8 / Grade 10.
- AET/ABET qualification.
- An equivalent qualification.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Cleaning Services
- Provide cleaning services as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the assigned work areas.
- Support a clean and safe working environment.
Cleaning Materials and Equipment
- Keep and maintain cleaning materials and equipment.
- Request cleaning materials and equipment when required.
- Manage the supply of cleaning materials and equipment.
Hygiene and Infection Prevention
- Implement hygiene measures.
- Maintain infection prevention measures.
- Follow basic safety and hygiene practices.
- Monitor hazards and support infection control procedures.
Skills and Competencies
Applicants should have knowledge or skills in the following areas:
- Batho Pele Principles.
- Basic safety and hygiene practices.
- Infection control and hazard monitoring.
- Interpersonal relations.
- Communication.
- Time management.
