Introduction

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is offering Sales Learnership opportunities in its Commercial department across various regions. This 12-month program aims to equip learners with the skills needed to grow sales volume, facilitate order-taking, and implement merchandising standards for direct and indirect customers. Learners will complete a National Certificate in Sales.

Location: Multiple locations in South Africa (Bloemfontein, Botshabelo, Thaba Nchu, Kimberley, Welkom, Mafikeng)

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team in executing strategies and achieving monthly targets.
  • Build relationships with retail partners, distributors, and customers to enhance brand loyalty.
  • Learn and adhere to CCBSA sales ethics, brand representation, and customer engagement standards.
  • Assist with order processing, inventory management, and handling customer inquiries.
  • Conduct market research to understand consumer preferences and trends.
  • Provide regular updates on sales activities, customer feedback, and market developments.
  • Help develop promotional campaigns and merchandising strategies.
  • Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and promotional discussions.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and report outcomes.
  • Engage in training and development to improve sales skills and product knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Grade 12 with Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy (passed with at least 40%)
  • Two South African languages (passed with at least 40%)
  • Diploma/Degree in a business-related field (Sales/Marketing is advantageous)
  • Valid Driver’s License

Additional Requirements

  • Must be a South African Citizen
  • Must be an Employment Equity candidate
  • Must be unemployed at the time of appointment
  • Must be between 18-35 years old
  • Must commit to the 12-month learnership program
  • Must reside in one of the listed locations
