Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Operations & Food Preparation:

• Assist chefs with basic food preparation, presentation, and dishing up of food.
• Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner to meet customer service standards.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation by cleaning food preparation areas, appliances, floors, walls, and other surfaces.
• Monitor kitchen stock levels, ensure stock rotation, and dispose of expired food.
• Ensure food leftovers are properly stored in appropriate containers for the next use.

Stock & Inventory Management:

• Inspect kitchen stock (food, spices, etc.) and report any shortages to the chef.
• Ensure stock is properly stored and allocated to the correct areas (freezers, shelves, etc.).
• Ensure that all stock is well-maintained, packaged, and rotated as per the required standards.

Health & Safety Compliance:

• • Follow health and safety guidelines and ensure kitchen cleanliness is in line with Hollywoodbets standards.
  • Maintain appropriate dress code and hygiene practices as per company guidelines.

Operational Support:

• Report operational problems, such as faulty equipment, to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in receiving and managing stock deliveries.
• Ensure all breakages and wastage are accounted for and reported.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area at all times.

Other Ad-hoc Duties:

• Assist in various other tasks as required to maintain smooth kitchen operations.

 

 

 

Minimum Requirements

• No prior experience required; however, food and beverage experience is a plus.
• High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and reliability.
• Good numeracy and stock analysis skills.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
