Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen with a valid South African ID document.
- Must be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Must have successfully completed Grade 12 (Matric).
- Must provide valid proof of a bank account.
- Must be registered with SARS and provide a tax reference document.
- Must be willing to undergo aptitude assessments as part of the selection process.
- Must be willing to undergo a medical examination and drug screening if selected.
- Must have a genuine interest in the manufacturing industry.
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude towards learning and personal development.
- All supporting documents must be certified and not older than three months at the time of placement into the programme.
Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Participate in all workplace learning activities outlined in the learnership programme.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures and workplace standards.
- Attend and actively participate in theoretical, practical and workplace-based training.
- Complete assignments, projects and all required assessment activities throughout the programme.
- Be available for the final external summative assessment on the scheduled date and at the designated venue.
- Demonstrate professionalism, reliability and commitment to completing the programme successfully.
Important Information
- The learnership runs for 12 months.
- The programme is funded by the FP&M SETA.
- Learners will receive a weekly stipend; the amount has not been specified in the advert.
- Applicants must be willing to work shifts when required.
- Appointments will be made in accordance with the company’s diversity targets.
