Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this learnership, applicants must have:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) and English
- Medically fit to work in a mining environment
- Clear security screening record
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable)
- Relevant experience in a mining or related environment (advantageous)
Key Responsibilities
Programme Objectives
- Successfully complete all modules within the specified timeframe
- Understand the programme objectives and associated tasks
- Report any concerns or obstacles encountered
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE)
- Adhere to all legal and safety regulations
- Conduct all work according to required standards and training
- Attend SHE meetings when required
- Use prescribed safety equipment at all times
- Identify and report hazardous situations
Reporting
- Compile progress reports for review by stakeholders
- Report any inconsistencies or obstacles in the programme
- Provide ideas and recommendations for improvement
