Requirements

• Grade 10 / AET level 5 to Grade 12 certificate.
• Knowledge of Batho Pele principles, Patient rights, and OHS act.
• 6 months experience in a hospital environment.
• Ability to work shifts as per allocation.

Duties

• Provision of cleaning services (Cleaning wards, offices, corridors, and boardrooms, dusting and sweeping, scrubbing and waxing of floors, vacuuming and cleaning of floors, cleaning walls, windows, and doors, collecting and removing waste papers, cleaning kitchens, and restrooms).
• Keep cleaning material safe and report broken equipment, cleaning of equipment after use.
• Flexibility regarding shifts (both night and day).
• Ensure that Ideal Hospital Framework and Realization, Batho Pele Principles, Patient’s Rights, and OHS Act are upheld.
• Contribute to the management of complaints and Patient Safety Incidents.
• Perform any other duties as delegated.
