DRIVER EAST LONDON – CASH SOLUTIONS

JOB INTRODUCTION

G4S Cash Solutions (SA), a leading provider of integrated cash management solutions, is currently recruiting for a Driver position based in East London. The successful candidate will report directly to the Branch Manager.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

In compliance with legal regulations and considering the nature of the position involving the use and handling of firearms, prospective candidates must submit a valid medical certificate confirming their fitness to carry and utilize a firearm before their employment can commence. While not mandatory for the initial interview stage, the medical certificate will become a requirement during the serious consideration for the position and subsequent vetting and screening processes. The submitted medical certificate should not be older than 3 months prior to the date of engagement.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY

The Driver is responsible for the guarding and handling of all valuables in transit between various areas and driving a vehicle in the performance of all duties. Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining vehicle standards and compliance with company equipment and vehicle procedures.
• Receiving and signing for all equipment and checking that all is in working order.
• Conducting vehicle audits and completing checklists.
• Driving responsibly, recording accidents and incidents.
• Performing control functions of scheduled trips.
• Complying with vehicle operating instructions.
• Participating in safety forums, reporting safety incidents, and attending safety education and refresher programs.
• Wearing protective clothing at all times.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Requirements:

• Grade 12.
• Valid PSIRA Certification.
• Valid PDP License.
• CIT Certificate.
• Valid SAPS Firearm Competency with Business Purposes.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a high-risk, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assess risk and act swiftly.
• Working as part of a team.
• Adherence to policies and procedures.
