Dis-Chem Pharmacies is building a strategic talent pool for Trainee Assistant Managers in various stores. The aim is to have a readily available and pre-screened group with specific skills, qualifications, or attributes suitable for future job opportunities within Dis-Chem Pharmacies.

Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Minimum of 5 years’ retail/FMCG experience in all retail departments
- Minimum of 3 years’ management/supervisory experience
- Computer literate – MS Office and retail operating systems
- Willing and able to work retail hours
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
Advantageous:
- Relevant retail/FMCG qualification
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Basic knowledge and application of human resources and industrial relations
Competencies:
- Store retail admin and management experience
- Strong command of the English language
- Basic financial skills
- Effective interaction with suppliers, management, reps, and staff
- Strong analytical skills and time management
- Manage, develop and motivate subordinates
- Trustworthy and honest
Special Conditions:
- Willing and able to work retail hours
- Local traveling – valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
- South African citizen
- Clear credit and criminal records
