PEP, a leading retail company, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Store Manager to lead our Langa Junction branch. This role is integral to achieving our business KPIs through driving sales, controlling costs, mitigating risks, and ensuring world-class store standards. Purpose of the Position

Lead a store team to meet business KPIs, including driving sales, cost control, mitigating risks and stock loss, administration, and ensuring world-class store standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Customer Service:
    • Increase sales by focusing on customer service and maintaining world-class store standards.
    • Manage stock and implement promotions.
  • Stock Loss Prevention:
    • Minimize stock loss through a healthy store culture and by following security measures, stock, and cash handling procedures.
  • Cost Management:
    • Manage costs according to the company’s low-cost culture by driving efficiencies in the store.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Ensure administrative duties within the store are performed according to company guidelines.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead a dynamic team of Dynamos, taking responsibility for team training, coaching, and performance.
  • Standards Maintenance:
    • Maintain general health, safety, and housekeeping standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Grade 12
    • Relevant tertiary education (degree/diploma in a business/retail-related field is an advantage).
  • Experience:
    • Ideally 1-2 years of experience in a retail environment within a leadership role.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in English.
    • Computer literate (Microsoft and/or Google GSuite – will be an advantage).
