As a Cash Monitoring Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the security of cash handling across Hollywoodbets’ retail branches, contributing to a company that is rapidly expanding its global footprint across Africa and the United Kingdom.

Minimum Requirements

• Education:
  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • Relevant Bookmakers Clerk Certificate or equivalent experience.
• Experience:
  • 1-2 years in the gaming industry (preferred).
• Bonus to Have:
  • Diploma/Degree in a relevant field.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

• Cash Monitoring:
  • Monitor the cash activity of Hollywoodbets retail branches during allocated shifts.
  • Enforce cash security procedures by ensuring clerks do not exceed cash drawer thresholds.
  • Block non-compliant clerks on the system or follow the telephone protocol by informing the appropriate leadership level.
• Cash Recon and Reporting:
  • Confirm cash transfers to the back office with relevant staff.
  • Submit end-of-day shift reports and morning update reports.
  • Submit special reports to the Risk and Operations Manager during emergency cash situations.
• Training and Mentorship:
  • Provide on-the-job training for new recruits.
• Communication and Professional Conduct:
  • Maintain professional communication, respecting the chain of command.
  • Follow good email and telephone etiquette.
