Key Responsibilities
- Financial Administration:
- Provide financial administration for the Centre for Quantum Computing and Technology and the Peptide cluster (research, academic, support, and students).
- Process fixed-term appointment forms, claims, and cost recovery.
- Extract financial reports and assist with procurement.
- General Administration:
- Handle international and local travel bookings, accommodation, and meetings.
- Draft correspondence and manage diaries.
- Organize meetings and compile reports and plans.
- Manage ad-hoc projects as required.
- Communication & Confidentiality:
- Maintain confidentiality and exhibit excellent communication skills.
- Work independently while supporting the directors with various administrative tasks.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) plus a one-year relevant qualification.
- Experience:
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably within a tertiary institution.
- Experience in financial administration and proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets.
