Introduction

Tsebo Cleaning and Hygiene Solutions is seeking a Pest Control Officer to provide high-quality pest elimination services to its customers. The role involves conducting inspections, implementing treatment plans, and ensuring excellent service delivery in a designated area.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and deliver effective pest control treatments.
• Provide written documentation of services and advise on pest prevention.
• Upsell Tsebo products/services or refer leads to Sales Executives.
• Mix and apply pesticides following label instructions and legislation.
• Plan work routes to ensure efficiency and 100% service coverage.
• Submit accurate reports and paperwork promptly.
• Manage a designated territory and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Design and implement pest management strategies and preventive measures.

 

 

 

Skills and Competencies

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficient in health and safety practices.
• Experience in planning, project management, and time management.
• Analytical, logical, and goal-driven problem-solving approach.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Sales exposure and innovative thinking are advantageous.
• Comprehensive knowledge of pest control principles and company policies.

 

 

 

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 (Matric).
• Valid Driver’s License and PDP (Professional Driving Permit).
• Registered and up-to-date Pest Control Officer (PCO) certification.
• HACCP Certified with relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of pest elimination qualification (preferred).
• Similar experience in pest control services is an added advantage.
