Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Service:

• Assist Cooks and Chefs in meal preparation, focusing on salads and desserts.
• Serve food on the line, ensuring it is well-stocked, neat, and clean.
• Store and record food leftovers.

Hygiene & Cleanliness:

• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene compliance in the canteen, kitchen, and dining areas.
• Maintain canteen tables, serving areas, and food prep zones.

 

 

 

Customer Service:

• Deliver excellent customer service within the scope of the role.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.

Operations & Compliance:

• Follow company and statutory hygiene regulations.
• Attend training courses and meetings as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

 

 

 

Skills & Competencies

• Enjoy practical and methodical tasks.
• Honest, reliable, and trustworthy.
• Good hand-eye coordination and personal hygiene.
• Free from skin allergies related to food and detergents.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work quickly and safely.
• Physical stamina to work 45-50 hours per week, including bending, standing, and lifting.

 

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Completion of a National Senior Certificate (Matric).
