Introduction

Isuzu Isando seeks a Vehicle Stock Controller to maintain, order, and control vehicle stock, ensuring optimal sales potential while upholding high integrity and ethical standards. The role involves stock management, invoicing, and administrative duties related to vehicle sales.

Key Responsibilities

Stock Management:

  • Invoice vehicles accurately and promptly per the offer to purchase authorized by management.
  • Capture purchase invoices daily.
  • Conduct vehicle stock takes twice a week.
  • Maintain provisions for all vehicles in stock.

Invoicing & Documentation:

  • Bring vehicles into stock and invoice them out.
  • Create purchase orders for suppliers for recon and fitments, ensuring every payment has an order number.
  • Verify required deal file documentation before invoicing.
  • Report discrepancies to the Financial Manager.

 



 

 

Reporting & Compliance:

  • Produce monthly reports on outstanding orders.
  • Balance vehicle costs on the in-house system with the department manager’s cost sheet.
  • Update the stock list with retail prices.
  • Oversee registration and licensing documents for used vehicles.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with Sales Executives and Sales Managers.
  • Manage the demo fleet and update reports to Matrix, back-office systems, and conduct weekly stock takes.

 



 

 

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • Previous Stock Controller and Invoicing experience.
  • Experience with the “Drive” Dealership Management System (advantageous).
  • Isuzu Experience (advantageous).
  • Currently working in the Motor Trade.

 



 

 

Skills & Personal Attributes

  • Computer Literate.
  • Proficient in Excel (mandatory).
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently.
