Introduction
To provide efficient customer service in line with the principles of Batho Pele and support the vision of the eThekwini Municipality’s Customer Care Unit.

Key Responsibility Areas
Customer Service:
- Respond to customer inquiries, information requests, and complaints regarding various municipal services.
Application Processing:
- Scrutinize and process applications for vending permits from street traders.
- Handle applications for business licenses related to food handling, entertainment, and hawking under the Business Licensing Act.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate filing and record-keeping systems.
- Update and manage the transactional management register daily.
- Perform other related administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years of relevant experience.
- Skills: Computer literacy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) with an Administrative Certificate.
- 3 years of relevant experience.
