Driver (Light Duty Vehicle)

Key Responsibilities

• Transport linen, goods, services, and personnel daily between institutions.
• Complete logbooks accurately.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report defects promptly.
• Assist with sorting, packing, and distributing linen to wards.

Minimum Requirements

• Appropriate driving experience, including transporting employees and goods.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Valid Public Driver’s Permit (PrDP).
• Valid driver’s license (Code B/EB/C1).
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and stand for long periods.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong interpersonal and driving skills.
• Knowledge of transport regulations (GMT U2 13B, 2019/2020).
• Ability to work independently and accept accountability.
• Good knowledge of road networks.

Remuneration:

Annual Salary: R131,265 – R154,626 per annum
Benefits: 13th cheque, employer pension fund contribution, housing, and medical aid allowance.
