Duties and Responsibilities

Stock Management

• Control stock while in holding
• Receive and dispatch stock
• Re-supply stock during receiving process
• Locate and maintain stock levels
• Minimize shrinkages and losses

Warehouse System Maintenance

• Update the system with new and discontinued products
• Ensure accurate stock location management
• Link and set up scanners
• Compare weigh-bridge stats to claims

Housekeeping, Safety, and Security

• Conduct housekeeping responsibilities
• Follow and enforce safety regulations

 

 

 

Warehouse Productivity

• Allocate resources to maximize picking efficiency
• Optimize the use of picking cages
• Minimize idling time

Administrative Tasks

• Capture truck and driver documentation
• Record satellite and interbranch reports
• Control and check printed invoices
• Follow up on queries
• Print invoices and load sheets after picking
• Report deviations in truck arrival times
• Close routes on ERMS

Stock Receiving, Storing, and Issuing

• Receive, store, and issue stock parts into the system
• Assist with stock counts and returns to suppliers
• Ensure accurate paperwork for stock orders and forward to the Capturing Clerk
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Standards (GMP)
• Ensure stock security, good housekeeping, and safety

 

 

 

Direct Parts Management

• Complete requisitions for direct orders
• Receive and store direct parts
• Issue direct parts to Artisans as required
• Ensure accurate paperwork for direct orders and forward to the Capturing Clerk
