Introduction

Servest, a leader in the Integrated Facilities Management Industry, is seeking two dynamic and driven Sales Consultants for its Landscaping Business Unit. Based at the Head Office in Midrand and Cape Town, these positions offers a platform for career growth in an innovative environment. The roles report directly to the Sales Director.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education:
    • Grade 12.
    • Relevant qualification (advantageous).
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of proven sales experience in the service industry.
    • A track record of successful sales achievements.
  • Skills and Attributes:
    • Ability to interpret customer needs effectively.
    • Good understanding of local market conditions and natural turf knowledge.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Fully computer literate.
    • Self-starter and team player.
    • Ability to work under pressure and independently.
    • Willing to make occasional personal sacrifices to meet deadlines.
  • Additional Requirements: Valid, unendorsed driver’s license and own transport.

 



 

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Pipeline Management: Maintain a sales pipeline in CRM to ensure accurate forecasts and meet sales targets.
  2. Acquisition Planning: Develop strategies for target accounts to achieve profitable sales goals.
  3. Market Insight: Monitor target markets, competitor activity, and customer trends. Provide feedback to improve Servest’s value propositions.
  4. Proposal Development: Prepare proposals aligned with customer needs and Servest’s best-fit solutions.
  5. Contract Discussions: Lead contract negotiations within SLA, legal, and approval frameworks to ensure timely conclusion before service implementation.
  6. Documentation and Risk Management: Ensure all required documents are completed, signed, and recorded in Servest’s CRM system.
  7. Handover Process: Transition new business to the relevant department post-customer acceptance to maintain service levels.
  8. Cross-Selling: Identify and pursue cross-sell opportunities to increase Servest’s share of wallet with customers.
  9. Support to NBDEs: Assist with tenders and national accounts to improve conversion rates through surveys, customer interactions, and planning.
