Introduction

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager (TOPS) to lead our team in Villiersdorp, Western Cape. This position requires a motivated individual with a strong background in retail management, capable of overseeing business operations, inspiring staff, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring financial goals are met.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations

  • Manage TOPS performance targets and profitability.
  • Oversee stock levels, replenishment, and management.
  • Ensure accurate pricing and efficient point-of-sale (POS) operations.
  • Plan and execute store promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and housekeeping standards.

Financial and Cash Management

  • Monitor and manage store financial performance.
  • Oversee cash handling processes, ensuring accuracy and security.

Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, and develop team members.
  • Foster a positive store culture and ensure staff deliver excellent customer service.
  • Manage staff schedules, roles, and performance.

Customer and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Manage customer queries, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Engage with Distribution Centre (DC) staff to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

Daily Operations

  • Open and close the store, ensuring operational readiness.

 



 

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of four years’ experience in an FMCG environment.
    • FMCG retail experience is advantageous.
  • Skills:
    • High degree of accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.
    • Strong numerical, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
