Introduction

Servest, a leader in Integrated Facilities Management, is looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Consultant to join its Landscaping & Turf Business Unit in Cape Town. This role reports directly to the Sales Manager.

Minimum Requirements

  • National Senior Certificate / Grade 12
  • Bachelor’s degree / Relevant tertiary qualification
  • 8 – 10 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent verbal and listening skills
  • Strong ability to interpret customer needs
  • Valid, unendorsed driver’s license and own transport
  • Understanding of local market conditions and natural turf knowledge
  • Self-starter and team player
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fully computer literate
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently
  • Willingness to make occasional personal sacrifices to meet deadlines

 



 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in sales and business development activities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key influencers and decision-makers
  • Secure new accounts and grow revenue from new business opportunities
  • Develop solutions and prepare proposal documentation
  • Gather and analyze competitor information to improve Servest’s competitive position
  • Contact and follow up with new and potential customers
  • Conduct well-prepared and targeted presentations
  • Align with corporate and divisional strategies in collaboration with sales and operations teams
  • Contribute to the development of a comprehensive and adaptable sales forecast
