The successful candidate will support the pharmacist in dispensing medication, handling stock control, and performing various administrative and frontshop duties to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing medication under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
• Manage stock control including receiving, checking, and replenishing stock
• Perform pharmacy-related administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
• Maintain housekeeping standards within the dispensary and front shop
• Deliver exceptional customer service at the front shop counter

 

 

 

Qualifications

Essential:

• Qualified as a Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant
• Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) as a Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar pharmacy role

 

 

 

Knowledge and Skills

Essential:

• Strong customer service orientation
• Sound dispensing knowledge
• Familiarity with dispensing and ordering systems

Desirable:

• Understanding of Retail/FMCG operations
