About the Internship
Interns will assist in the administrative operations of Dental Clinics, ensuring smooth patient admission and discharge processes, data accuracy, and effective communication with patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Admit, discharge, and dispose of patients on Clinicom
- Ensure patient details are accurate and up to date
- Manage and maintain the reception areas
- Arrange patient transport via Healthnet when required
- Ensure accurate and reliable data management
- Handle patient enquiries, complaints, and compliments
- Support the Supervisor with administrative relief duties as needed
Minimum Requirements
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification
- Aged between 18 – 35 years
- Willingness to rotate within different Oral Health Centres
- Must not have previously completed a 24-month internship with the Department of Health and Wellness
Skills and Competencies
- Good interpersonal and numerical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, and other MS Office applications)
- Strong reading and writing skills
Stipend
- R 64 149 per annum
