Minimum Requirements:

• National Diploma (Building/Civil and structural streams) or equivalent qualification
• Registration as an Engineering Technician
• Minimum of 6 years appropriate experience
• Valid Code B or higher driving licence

Key Performance Areas:

• Investigate customer complaints related to construction and maintenance work
• Manage the implementation of new works, repairs, and maintenance
• Compile project documentation for new and existing structures
• Supervise contractors and consultants
• Gather information for the Extended Public Works Programme (EPWP)
• Supervise subordinate performance and conduct

 

 

 

Competencies:

• Extensive knowledge of project management, personnel management, and contract administration
• Familiarity with relevant legislation, regulations, and financial procedures
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Remuneration: R 527,298 per annum (Salary level 10)
