Minimum Requirements:

• Engineering Degree (B Eng/ BSc (Eng)) in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification engineering experience in Agricultural water use and irrigation
• Compulsory registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer
• Valid code B driving licence

Key Performance Areas:

• Design new systems to solve practical engineering challenges in agriculture
• Plan, design, operate, and maintain engineering projects in agricultural settings
• Facilitate human capital development by ensuring training and development of technicians and engineers
• Manage office administration and budget planning for engineering projects
• Engage in research and development to stay abreast of new technologies and procedures in agricultural engineering

Remuneration:

Grade A: R 795,147 – R 847,221 per annum; Grade B: R 894,042 – R 962,292 per annum; Grade C: R 1,020,087 – R 1,197,978 per annum (OSD as prescribed)
