Job Purpose

As a Sport Promotion Officer, you will coordinate and implement sport and recreation development programs, contributing to the enrichment of communities across the Western Cape.

Minimum Requirements

• 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree or equivalent
• Valid code B (or higher) driving license

 

 

 

Recommendation

• Experience in recreation programs and indigenous games structures
• Project management and event planning experience

Key Performance Areas

• Coordinate recreation development and programs
• Assist in setting up indigenous games structures
• Establish indigenous games league matches
• Ensure compliance and people management

 

 

 

Competencies Required

• Knowledge of mass participation and public finance management
• Skills in event planning, project management, and communication
• Proficiency in computer literacy and data analysis

Remuneration: R 294 321 per annum (Salary Level 7)
