Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for the Armed Security Officer (Grade B) role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background:
  • Minimum Grade 10 education.
• Professional Accreditation:
  • Grade C, B, and A accredited and registered.
  • Firearm Competency for business purposes, including Handgun, Shotgun, and Rifle.
• Licensing and Experience:
  • Valid Driver’s License with PDP.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the security industry.
• Additional Requirements:
  • Must have no criminal record.
  • Willingness to undergo regular criminal checks.
  • Must be physically fit to perform security duties.
  • Must reside in the Mamelodi area.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

As an Armed Security Officer, your primary duties will include:

• Report Writing: Accurately document incidents and activities.
• Safeguarding: Ensure the protection of clients, properties, and assets.
• Patrolling: Regularly patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or damage.
• Entrance and Exit Control: Monitor and control access points to premises.
• Completing Registers: Maintain accurate records in relevant registers.
• Standard Duties: Perform all standard security duties as per training.
