Introduction

Fidelity Services Group, a leader in the security and investigations industry, is seeking dedicated CIT Controllers to join its team in Cape Town. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of schedules, secure handling of confidential information, and effective tracking of the fleet.

Position Overview

Role Purpose

The CIT Controller is responsible for preparing for fleet departures, monitoring CIT schedules, tracking control, and maintaining constant communication with drivers. The role also involves ensuring all documentation and administration duties are completed accurately and maintaining basic access control and security through CCTV monitoring.

 



 

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Fleet Management:
    • Prepare for fleet departures and ensure all CIT schedules are collected for the day.
    • Track control by taking data from drivers every hour and issuing OTC Codes.
  2. Communication and Coordination:
    • Maintain contact with all drivers throughout the day.
    • Constant communication with Branch Management to ensure smooth operations.
  3. Security and Monitoring:
    • Conduct CCTV monitoring to ensure security.
    • Maintain basic access control to safeguard sensitive information.
  4. Administration and Documentation:
    • Handle all documentation and administration duties accurately.
    • Basic client liaison to ensure client schedules are handled properly.

 



 

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience:
    • At least 1 year of control room experience in the security industry or a similar role.
  • Qualifications:
    • PSIRA accreditation with a minimum Grade C qualification is advantageous.
  • Skills:
    • Computer literate (compulsory).
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure with a clear disciplinary record.

  • Must be self-motivated with a focus on quality assurance.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.
