Role Purpose
The Retail Business Consultant builds and maintains meaningful partnerships with Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) to promote Momentum’s solutions, helping to grow the advisor’s business and achieve sales targets. The role involves increasing the Momentum footprint in the Western Cape region.

 



 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Engagement with IFAs: Foster continuous and consistent engagement with targeted IFAs to ensure no barriers to partnership, understand the competitive landscape, and address IFA needs with appropriate value propositions.
  • Relationship Building: Develop deep, meaningful, and long-lasting relationships with IFAs, and implement IFA retention strategies to encourage business continuity with Momentum.
  • Promote Brand and Digital Integration: Encourage IFAs to connect with the Momentum brand and adopt digital workflows.
  • Educational Support: Serve as a primary information source for IFAs, delivering knowledge and insights that drive sales and improve financial planning outcomes.
  • Performance and Growth: Achieve or exceed sales targets, support IFAs in increasing their production, and ensure the retention and growth of IFA business with Momentum.

 



 

 

Requirements

  • Qualifications: A 3-year tertiary qualification or willingness to pursue a degree.
  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant sales and communication experience. Familiarity with Momentum products is advantageous.
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work on a commission-based structure, flexibility to travel to IFAs, and a valid driver’s license.
