Introduction

The Time Study Officer will be responsible for analyzing work study data and equipment specifications to determine operating standards, measure employee productivity, and evaluate facility effectiveness. The goal is to establish standards, optimize production efficiency, and recommend improvements for cost-saving and operational efficiency.

Key Accountabilities

  • Operational Analysis:
    • Conduct time-and-motion studies to establish realistic time and production standards.
    • Survey on-site operations and monitor production to improve plan versus actual.
  • Personnel & Work Efficiency:
    • Observe personnel and analyze work procedures to optimize efficiency.
    • Recommend enhancements for productivity and cost savings.
  • Mathematical & Data Analysis:
    • Apply mathematical analysis to validate work study data.
    • Report findings and provide actionable recommendations to improve productivity.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Ensure all tasks are completed according to Sasol’s safety and risk management objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Pursue ongoing personal development to meet performance goals.

 



 

 

Requirements

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years in a related field.
  • Certification:
    • Blasting Certificate (Underground).
