General Worker
Introduction
The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness is looking for a dedicated General Worker to join the team at the Metro TB Centre. This permanent role requires a motivated individual to assist with stock delivery, inventory management, and store maintenance in line with health department standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficient stock delivery to departments and clinics
- Assist clerks with stock receipt, storage, and issuance
- Ensure an accurate audit trail of deliveries
- Maintain a clean store environment
- Perform ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
- Experience in a store environment
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Physical ability to handle heavy boxes or bags
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
Salary & Benefits
R131,265 – R154,626 per annum, including service benefits such as a 13th cheque, employer pension contributions, and housing and medical aid allowance.
