Community Animal Health Worker

Salary: R155,148 – R182,757 per annum (Level 03)
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 10/Standard 8
- Experience in community dipping functions (advantageous)
- Preference for local qualifying candidates
Key Responsibilities:
- Count and record cattle for dipping
- Ensure correct water levels for dipping and mix dipping materials
- Monitor dipping procedures and clean the entrance and drainage areas post-dipping
- Perform minor repairs on dipping tanks
- Safeguard dipping materials
- Report issues to the Animal Health Technician
- Assist with vaccinations, treatments, and animal handling during castration and dehorning
