Introduction
The Western Cape Mobility Department invites applications for two Administrative Officer positions within Traffic Support Services in Parow, Western Cape. These roles offer an excellent opportunity to provide key administrative support within the government sector.
Position Details

Job Purpose
The successful candidates will deliver administrative support services and coordinate monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities, while supporting the traffic support services component.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Senior Certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent qualification)
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years in an administrative support role, specifically within a traffic law enforcement environment
Recommended Experience and Skills
- Additional Requirements: Ability to work irregular hours, including holidays, and availability for travel within the province.
- License: Valid Code B (or higher) driving license (applicants with reasonable transport access may apply).
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver administrative and statistical support services
- Coordinate M&E activities and maintain related systems
- Support the component with supply chain management activities
- Provide administrative advice and coordinate with stakeholders
- Conduct supervisory duties
Competencies and Skills
- Knowledge: Organizational and management practices, financial monitoring, budget reporting, strategic planning, office and database management, information and record administration, procurement procedures, computer-based systems.
- Skills: Numeracy, computer literacy, strong verbal and written communication, project management, finance and auditing, legal administration, data analysis.
Remuneration and Benefits
- Annual Salary: R 308,154.00 (Salary Level 7)
- Additional Benefits: Medical assistance, housing assistance, and pension-fund contributions are available according to regulations.
