Introduction

The ARC-TSC is looking for 10 Seasonal Labourers to support our farm operations in Nelspruit. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the horticulture and agriculture industry, contributing to the cultivation and harvesting of tropical and subtropical crops.

Location: Friedenheim, Nelspruit, Mpumalanga
Contract Type: Five (5) Months Fixed-Term

Key Responsibilities

• Perform farm activities as directed by management.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment provided.
• Complete manual tasks as assigned by supervisors.
• Follow Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) instructions and practices.

 

 

 

What You’ll Need

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 10 qualification and/or experience in fruit farming.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

• Experience in harvesting tropical and subtropical fruits.
• Basic understanding of agricultural practices.
• Familiarity with operating manual farm equipment and machinery (e.g., brush cutter, chainsaw).

Additional Skills:

• Good communication abilities.
• Understanding of health and safety protocols.
• Willingness to work under varying and adverse weather conditions.
