Sasol is offering an Artisan Maintenance Learnership Programme for 2026. This programme combines structured theoretical learning with practical workplace experience, equipping learners with technical skills in maintenance and engineering fields.

Duration: 36 Months
Locations: Sasolburg, Germiston, Komatipoort, Ekandustria (South Africa)

Available Fields

Learnership opportunities are available in:

• Mechanical Fitter
• Electrician
• Instrumentation

Minimum Requirements

Option 1:

• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate (6 subjects) with:
  • Mathematics or Technical Mathematics
  • English
  • Physical Science or Technical Science

OR

Option 2:

• N3 Certificate (6 subjects) with:
  • Mathematics
  • English
  • Engineering Science

Key Responsibilities

• Participate fully in the learnership programme
• Complete all required assessments successfully
• Attend structured training and workplace learning sessions
• Engage in workplace readiness activities
• Develop technical and practical skills in chosen field

Working Conditions

• Industrial and technical work environments
• Combination of classroom-based learning and on-the-job training
