Minimum Requirements

• Grade 10 / AET Level 4 or equivalent qualification
• Must be able to read and write
• Minimum of 1 year hospital experience (advantageous)
• Ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Understanding of Batho Pele principles
• Knowledge of Labour Relations processes

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean wards, offices, corridors, and boardrooms
• Clean floors, windows, doors, benches, and equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of toilets, bathrooms, kitchens, and lockers
• Handle spillages and high dusting
• Collect and return food trolleys
• Wash and maintain kitchen utensils
• Refill consumables (toilet paper, hand towels, etc.)
• Clean machines and equipment after use
• Refill water bottles and request cleaning materials
• Ensure cleaning checklists are updated

Working Conditions

• Hospital environment
• Shift work, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Physically demanding duties

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: R144 024 per annum
