Admin Assistant
VKB Agricultural Management Services is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Admin Assistant to support the administrative and financial operations of its office in Reitz, Free State. This half-day permanent position is ideal for candidates with strong administrative skills, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a professional environment. The successful candidate will assist with office administration, financial processes, client invoicing, and compliance-related activities.

The Agricultural Management Services Division provides specialised agricultural economic and management support services, including:
- Agricultural economic and feasibility studies
- Financial viability assessments
- Cost norm and budgeting models
- Production and efficiency analysis
- Agricultural economics training and lectures
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Managing and overseeing office administrative functions
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and governance standards
- Liaising with SARS, auditors, clients, and external stakeholders
- Assisting with VAT-related administrative processes
- Processing invoices and creditor payments
- Preparing and issuing client invoices
- Maintaining accurate financial and administrative records
- Assisting with the planning and coordination of farmers’ days and lectures
- Supporting day-to-day office operations and reporting activities
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Relevant administrative experience
